Hello everybody,

This is an e-learning platform for the students of the Spanogiannis School of Languages. We would like to help people who want to help themselves by using the means that technology offers. It is an earnest effort to facilitate learning and enable students to work online no matter where they are. The materials cover all levels from beginner to Proficiency.

We aim in changing the reading habits and enhancing the skills necessary for a good command of the English language. An idea of course in order to be implemented needs participants willing to break away with old habits and immerse themselves in the new thing.

So let us examine the benefits of this novel way of learning. Top on the list, convenience is the major advantage as it allows students to work and learn at their own pace without the pressing time restrictions of traditional learning.

Secondly, as e-learning provides access to learning materials at any time, students have the flexibility to schedule around families, school homework and other activities. The accessibility it provides is the next one. Students can learn from anywhere in the world, including home, therefore they save in both time and money than with traditional learning.

Finally a course on line costs nothing in comparison to printing and writing materials. Of course we do not believe that a teacher can be replaced by a machine. However, both students and teachers can be helped tremendously by it, especially the latter since this tool provides access to a trove of information which they can explore both to their students’ benefit and their own well-being and creativity.
